I'm going to write a Xmas card for my hostfamily in the U.S.
But I have no idea what I write.I wrote"Hi!How are you?I'm good."...then I stopped...

Tell them you are grateful for their role as your host family. Tell them what happens in Japan at Christmas. Does anybody celebrate? What are the differences between here and there? If you are brave and you know what your host family believes about Christmas, tell them you respect their beliefs or are trying to do so. If you don't know what they believe, wish them a Joyous Christmas and a Happy New Year.
